We offer our players a loose structure that will allow them their choice of group or solo PvP or PvE playing options as well as a network where they can either participate in regularly scheduled fleet actions (missions/battles) or find other fleet members online who want to join them for spur-of-the-moment missions / battles.

Ie. … It does not matter if you are someone that can play only a few days a week or several hours every day, we want you to be able to play the game YOU want to play as you want to play it.
If it’s not fun, it’s not worth playing.
And as long as you remain respectful of others, we can be a home for you!
Our Main Fleets vs. Our Story Fleets
Our main fleets are straight forward, typical game play.
These are Alliance Central Command and boq botlhra’ghom.
These are open to any player who walks with respect towards their fellow players … regardless of if you like group play, teaming with others, or just going the lone wolf route.
Voice and text comms are always there should the player choose to join in conversations with fleetmates.
Our story fleets embrace creativity by creating our own corner of the Trek universe.
These fleets are our secondary fleets … Malstrom Alliance and mey’elStrem boq.
Both story fleets revolve around a region of space called the Malstrom Expanse — an area filled with what look like large swaths of storm clouds and gravimetric anomalies that make exploration and travel within more difficult.
That’s why it has taken until now for the those of the Khitomer Alliance to decide to work together to pierce those clouds and see what’s inside.
There ARE stable routes and spacial currents located within … but those routes need to be charted and where they might lead discovered.
We also know from reports from other races that there are plants within those clouds … species of various types that have not just achieved warp drive, but have staked claims to regions of space for themselves.
Some races are friendly … Others, not so much.
And then there are threats from others who have also ventured into the soup … Borg, Terrans, rogue Klingons, Voth, and more.
Our plan is to shift the stories from Star Trek Online’s missions and TFOs to fit the stories we wish to create … whether in writing, art, role play or otherwise.
Take the Defend Starbase One task force operation. … Who is to say that for us it is not us defending some other installation that fits our own narritive?
And yes, we can drift from our side narrative to that of Star Trek Online’s and back again to our own.
It’s all about having fun.
For our story fleet, we seek players who like ANY of the following:
- Sharing the same fictional universe with others, stories existing in that same take on the Star Trek Online universe.
- World building. (We even have our own wiki!)
- Love to talk about their characters like they have real stories.
- Crafting elaborate character bios.
- Writing fan-fiction stories and/or log entries about our characters using a fleet supplied personal blog and channels on Discord.
- Roleplay through either text or voice.
- Tabletop roleplay via Star Trek Adventures’ system rules.
- Screenshots or other forms of art.
- Just want to play their character in Star Trek Online while existing within the above crafted universe.
What do we hope to have going on before it’s over?
- World-building of our crafted / shared universe for our stories and creative mindsets, supported by our own wiki.
- Written fan-fiction stories, character logs, and extensive bios for characters / ships.
- Story nights where we gather online (via Discord) like an open mic night where you can amaze all with tales of your captains, ships and crews.
- Have roleplaying sessions over text and/or voice comms via discord.
- Team up to run missions / task force operations together in Star Trek Online with you representing your ship and crew over voice comms in the process.
- Tabletop gaming in our created universe using the Star Trek Adventures system and rules.
- Post screenshots and other created / crafted art via our Instagram and Twitter streams for all to enjoy.
- Have sessions where we simply have fun talking about our corner of the universe, characters, ships and Star Trek Online.
WE ARE ALL ABOUT THE CREATIVITY!
And you can also enjoy these story fleets just because you think it would be fun to play your characters and ships in game in a fleet that exists within this shared-verse.
Ie. You don’t have to be one of the ones actually writing the stories to be a part of our fleet(s).
